Decarbonisation is one of the greatest challenges the shipping industry has faced in its long history. Wartsila strategy is foreseeing three main pillars among which Future Fuel is a fundamental element. But co.operation with the Ship Owners is more than ever crucial. To give proper evidence of this we are proposing some highlights of the Ro-Pax project we developed with the Ship Owner Grimaldi. We are concluding our contribution to the Decarbonisation Session giving some flavour of what we are expecting next, presenting some progress of On board Carbon Capture piloting in real life, that is complementing in a very versatile manner Wartsila Decarbonisation Strategy.
