Wind Wings technology as a part of EU CHEK Project

The project CHEK will develop and demonstrate two bespoke vessel designs – a wind energy optimised bulk carrier and a hydrogen powered cruise ship – equipped with an interdisciplinary combination of innovative technologies working in symbiosis to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 99% and achieve at least 50% energy savings. BAR Technologies will present their contribution through the WindWings technology designed to improve the efficiency of ships by reducing the required power to carry goods by harnessing the power of the wind.
